Whitney is a ray of sunshine. She brings a sense of calm to any shoot and is super down to earth which is integral when working with someone for life's most intimate moments. She is one of the best for ethereal, light and airy photos and I would strongly recommend.

Having Whitney and Rebecca was the best decision we made for our wedding. Both are absolute gems, phenomenal and are super talented and organized (I thought they were our wedding planners on the day of!), kind and professional, (our family kept giving compliments and raved about them afterwards), and put you honestly at such ease and comfort with their passion and presence that true, unbridled moments come out. You can tell both have a deep desire for not only capturing special moments on camera, but also truly celebrating with you on your special day. Their service and the attention to detail they bring (they even had a box for my wife to put her ring!), ribbons, and even fixing and putting on my boutiniere are the extra, special touches that only Whitney and Rebecca can bring to your special day that puts them classes above.

Given my wife is in the design and creative industry, we're thrilled at how our preview shots came out, and cannot wait to see the final photos! If you're ever looking for a photographer to hire for any occasion, we wholeheartedly give 11/10 to both Whitney and Rebecca for their incredible talent, professionalism, and bonus for them being such sweet people

I can’t speak more highly of Whitney and her assistant, Rosanna. I was absolutely delighted to book with them, and the cherry on top is that they work with the talented videographers, Sean and Erin from Dialogue Design. Whitney is incredible and paid attention to every single detail that made our day perfect. Not only is she a talented photographer, but her calm, organized and friendly presence made our day enjoyable and seamless. When preparing for the day, she took the time to go over all the details that went into what our vision was. She made everyone feel at ease, comfortable, and beautiful on the wedding day. Her photography was the exact style I have been dreaming of for my wedding for many years. Her approach to capturing the moment, but also offering some staged suggestions was the perfect combination. After our wedding, many people raved about her and how she was outstanding in her kind and attentive nature.
We received a sneak peek for our wedding photographs and are in awe by the art she created. We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos. I feel very grateful to have had truly the dream team to capture our special day.

Whitney was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had Whitney shoot both our engagement and wedding photos. Her photos are beyond beautiful from the lighting to the way she captures all the special details and candid moments. Whitney is so lovely and made us feel incredibly comfortable while also guiding us through our all photos. She is so organized and helped keep us on track with our day-of schedule and making sure our bridal party and family/guests were ready for photos when required. All our guests at our wedding loved her and kept saying how sweet she was! We also received a sneak peek of our photos within a few short days which was amazing and we are so excited to see the rest! Highly recommend Whitney and her team!

Hiring Whitney was my top priority for my wedding day and I cannot express how worth it she is! Not only with Whitney are you getting the most elegant and timeless photos, but you're getting a new best friend for the day. Whitney is kind, helpful, and genuinely wants to make sure you have the best day possible. Whitney went above and beyond for me at my wedding, being there for me in whatever way she could, all while making sure my dream photos became a reality. My husband wasn't convinced that we should plan our whole wedding around having Whitney as our photographer, but after our day together, I think he wanted to do the whole day over again, but have Whitney at the end of the aisle!
Some of the highlight details of working with Whitney were: multiple planning phone calls, schedule organization, photography list creation, vendor collaboration, and honestly, the most positive and stress free demeanour you could possibly experience.
I highly recommend hiring Whitney for whatever photography needs you have!

A very rare talent Whitney is. We hired Whitney for our destination wedding and it surpassed ALL expectations we had. We shot engagement photos in Bali, our wedding in Cambodia and honeymoon in Thailand. It was the best decision we made for our wedding. She has the ability to make the ordinary look extraordinary. The best money we ever spent! Since I have had her document our family throughout all it’s stages - she’s stuck with us for life!

Whitney Heard Photography photographed a wedding that I was a part of. Whitney and her team made the day fun and kept us all in line, while paying attention to the little details. They even helped us put on our boutonnieres in the morning, adjusted our hair when it was out of place, and gave great direction when creating group poses. Whitney even came to the wedding rehearsal to give guidance on where we should stand and the best angles for photos, this made the ceremony on the day of go smoothly and helped calm our nerves. Once we received the photos back it was so much fun going through the memories and seeing all of the creativity come to life. If you are looking for a photographer that has a warm personality, a calm demeanor, and has years of professional experience, Whitney Heard is the ideal choice!

I think it’s such a gift to love, and to be loved; a gift that we give and work for everyday. And here you are, about to celebrate this gift — how exciting! We may have different stories, but love connects us all.
I live in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia, traveling back and forth and everywhere in between.
