Villa Bettoni Venue

I have never written a review like this, but I have also never been treated so poorly by a wedding venue.

My mother and I traveled from the United States specifically to tour venues in the area, and Villa Bettoni was one we were seriously considering. We arrived 12 minutes late for our appointment through no fault of our own. Villa Bettoni had an event that day, and their parking lot was occupied by event vendors. The venue itself instructed us to find street parking, which was extremely difficult and caused the delay. Our appointment had also previously been moved from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at their request.

Despite this, when I introduced myself to the coordinator, Annalisa, one of the first things she said was, “Yeah, you’re late.” I apologized anyway, but from that moment forward her attitude was shockingly rude, dismissive, and condescending.

She made us feel as though our scheduled appointment was an enormous inconvenience because they had an event that day, repeatedly questioned me about our guest count even after I confirmed that their 150-person capacity was fine, and then reacted with complete disbelief and hostility when I told her we were planning for spring 2028. She began saying “NO, NO, NO” and told me she could not be showing me a venue for a 2028 wedding, while accusing me of not disclosing the year when I inquired.

Within about five minutes, I told my mother we were leaving.

We traveled halfway around the world and were prepared to spend a very significant amount of money on our wedding here. Instead of being welcomed as prospective clients, we were made to feel like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived. I told Annalisa directly that her attitude and energy toward us were unacceptable and that I would not even consider having my wedding there.

She blamed the interaction on a “language difference.” It was not a language difference. Rudeness and condescension do not require translation.

Villa Bettoni is beautiful, but no venue is beautiful enough to justify treating potential clients this way. We toured several other venues in the area and were treated with incredible warmth and professionalism. I strongly recommend couples take their business to one of them instead.

I am incredibly grateful we saw this side of Villa Bettoni before trusting them with one of the most important days of our lives.
