The Admirable Crichton Caterer

Working with the AC was very easy, the team went above and beyond to make our special day as fantastic as possible. There were so many things to decide and they were very good at giving us the freedom to have exactly what we wanted while also giving us an experienced helping hand when needed. The food tasting we had was incredibly impressive and made our day seem even more exciting and real and the small details we asked for were accommodated without fuss.

In short, the Admirable Crichton are excellent. The food is outstanding, Ruth and her team are brilliant, and overall they made our wedding day not only a day that my Wife and I will remember for a long time but based on the feedback from our guests, a day they will remember for a long time as well.

In this review, I should start by explaining that like many couples, we were caught out by the pandemic and had to postpone our wedding by a year, even then we were caught out by Boris extending the restrictions just beyond our wedding day. We first encountered Ruth and her team after sadly our venue could no longer provide the catering they had promised. We had a very strict budget and whilst we had to go over our budget for various reasons, Ruth was always very conscious of our tight budget and was always trying to find a way to make things work but at the same time for the quality of service not to drop.

Ruth and her team were also aware of our many suppliers we had already booked prior to bringing them on board and were excellent in organising everyone on the day. So much so that despite my Wife and I being very hands on people, they took pretty much everything away from us that needed doing. Likewise given the restrictions imposed at the time of our wedding, Ruth and her team worked tirelessly with our Venue to ensure we could have a as near to normal wedding as possible whilst sticking within the guidance. Hayley and Oli were excellent on the day ensuring everything was great and were always on hand if needed for anything what so ever.

Now as to the food, we are still hearing from our guests who described the food as some of the best they have eaten. I was extremely pleased with the high quality of food especially for the price of it as it is not overly expensive.

Ultimately, a purpose of a review is for others to gain insight into the people they are considering using. Hopefully the above outlines how fantastic Ruth and her team were to my Wife and I. I would without any doubt whatsoever recommend the Admirable Crichton for any event you are planning.
