Sarah and the entire team at Blanc Weddings delivered the best weekend of our lives.
We wanted a 3-day wedding in Tuscany, and we knew as a a US-based couple, trying to plan a wedding in Italy, remotely, by ourselves would be hard, if not impossible. We found Blanc Wedding through Instagram and interviewed multiple planners during our search, some based in the US and some in Italy. I highly recommend working with a local planner in Italy. Communication, vendor relationships, local VAT accounting, etc are so difficult abroad. We picked Blanc Weddings because of the pedigree of weddings they had done, their experience in working with international couples, the quality of work we saw, and the communication throughout the interview process.
After we selected them, we had weekly “Wedding Wednesday” calls with Sarah. Throughout the year there were dozens of iterations for each event and hundreds of decisions, which Sarah helped distill down. When we needed to shift budget from one area to another, Sarah got creative. When we wanted to deliver surprise experiences for our guests, Sarah made it happen. Sarah regularly kept in contact via WhatsApp on the budget, logistics, deadlines and decisions. And just to check in personally.
Going into the weekend you never know exactly how things are going to turn out. Will all of the time, energy and investment feel worth it? Without a doubt, it was worth every second and every penny. The entire weekend was perfect and exceeded all of our expectations.
On the weekend itself, the entire Blanc Weddings team was all-hands-on-deck. They had 3-4 people every day at all of the events, coordinating all of the vendors, arranging transportation on the property, staying with us to make sure we had what we needed, and working with the venue team. It was a full production and they executed it flawlessly. Even with the surprise Italian summer rainstorms that pushed back the start time of 2 events by an hour, Sarah and team didn’t miss a beat reworking things on the fly to make it perfect.
I’m sure everyone says it, but we had the best wedding any of our guests will ever go to. Every little detail was thoughtful. Every event went according to plan. We’re genuinely sad our wedding is over because it means we won’t be talking to Sarah every week.

My husband and I were incredibly happy with how the team brought to life our dream wedding in Italy. Despite all the challenges of organizing a wedding in a private home, the planning and the resulting festivities exceeded our expectations by far.
