Thank you for visiting my page and showing an interest in getting to know me. My name is Laura, and I have a deep passion for photography. Photography, to me, is more than just capturing images; it's about telling stories, evoking emotions, making statements, and preserving moments in history. I find immense joy in the ability of photography to freeze moments in time, allowing us to revisit them whenever we please. In 2016, I founded Rust and Bark Wedding Photography with a focus on weddings, couples, and creative conceptual work. My journey into photography began at OCAD University, where I learned how to turn ideas into concepts and stories, and transform my vision into tangible photographs. Drawing inspiration from old paintings, cinema and fashion, I strive to create images that exude a sense of documentary, romance, and a touch of editorial, through my composition and editing techniques. While I am based in Toronto, Ontario, I am fueled by a passion for travel and embrace any opportunity to explore new places and meet new people. My mission is to capture the raw and candid moments that reveal the true emotions shared between you and your loved ones.
