Danaea and Silas - Thank you so much for the beautiful photos. We viewed them all with our families, and needless to say we are in love with them! You guys really captured the love and feelings of the day and we are so grateful we have something to remember our wedding by. We will cherish these photos for a very long time. Thank you to you both.
The Godards are simply phenomenal! Let's start with the non-obvious - they were so fun to be our partners on the day of our wedding. We got married on one of the rainiest days of the year. They made us feel taken care of, they were bold and confident about where/how to take the photos, and they were such a joy to be around. And the photos themselves - they were bright and beautiful. It perfectly captured the special day, without shying away from the ~unique~ weather we had the privilege of enjoying. We wholeheartedly recommend The Godards!
We hired Danaea and Silas for our wedding back in September and we would do it time and time again. Having the Godard's capture our special day was one of the best decisions we made when hiring our wedding vendors.
They made us feel so at ease and made our guests feel comfortable in front of the camera. The two of them so seamlessly blend into every moment of the day that we would forget we were getting photographed! It made for perfectly candid and real shots that were exactly what we were looking for. Along with their ability to make everyone feel comfortable, they are so much fun to get to know and on top of all of that, their professionalism is unmatched!
Seriously, we could not imagine our wedding without them and we would recommend them to anyone looking for photographers for their events.

Danaea and Silas were amazing! We were only planning to do an engagement photo shoot with them a couple years back, since our wedding was suppose to be a destination wedding. However, we have to cancel that plan in a last minute and do an elopement in Vancouver instead. Left with only a couple weeks to plan, with no vendors or plan. Since we were so happy with our engagement photos, it was a no brainer for us to go with them again as our wedding photographer. They were very accommodating, from helping us with the timeline to the location recommendation. Our wedding photos looked amazing; they were able to capture all the important moments during the day. They are truly the complete package; highly recommend them for your engagement to the wedding day!
The Godards are truly wonderful people - both in their craft as photographers but as well as getting to know the couples! They made us feel so comfortable and confident during our engagement shoot and moreso on our wedding day. You can see their quality of work, attention to detail, and care in every photo. We love looking back at our wedding album because we’re reminded of one of our best days ever and the amazing experience we had with both Danaea and Silas!

We knew from day one that the Godards was the best choice we made for our wedding day. We both admired their work, their ability to capture moments so beautifully, and their skills to play with lighting is so magical. We are definitely the awkward type in front of the camera and the pictures turned out so beautifully that it didn’t look like that under their lens. Working with Danaea and Silas was a great experience. We spent a lot of time researching photographers for our wedding but what stood out about them was their ability to capture the emotions of the day in a beautiful, authentic, and artistic manner – and that's exactly what they did.
They are an amazing, calm presence to have on your wedding day and heck, if it starts pouring rain in the middle of your ceremony, they'll even be the first ones to get you an umbrella!

We are so happy to have had Danaea + Silas photograph our engagement session and wedding. They are simply wonderful human beings who took the time to learn about us as a couple and made sure the photographs matched exactly what we were looking for. Every photo was incredible and working with them was so fun and enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
Honestly, what is there to even say? I'd be lying if I said I didn't stay awake until 2:45am on a "school night" going through our wedding photos, and opening them every chance I've gotten since.

By some miracle (their exceptional talent), they can make people who usually squirm at the thought of a camera feel relaxed, comfortable, and most importantly, like themselves. They quickly became part of the wedding party, friendship circle, and family, and we are equally thrilled to have been able to spend our big day alongside them as we are to have a lifetime to look back on their incredible work.
