Overall my photographic style as a wedding photographer has been shaped by a combination of my background in fine art and my own persona artistic influences like music, movies and editorial photography. The melange of all these influences has allowed me to blur the lines between Fine Art Editorial and Documentary photography which is my ultimate goal when photographing a wedding.

The documentary side of my work is all about anticipating fleeting moments and being hyper aware of how people interact with one another and their environments. The editorial edge I bring to my work has a sort of “anti-bride / anti-groom” approach to help empower the couple and create impactful portraiture that becomes a standout memory for them. I want to create a sense of atmosphere and mood with my images so it’s important to focus on building comfort with the couples I work with and also about approaching certain things with detailed attention.
