From the very beginning, Raphaëlle had a sunny, positive attitude. It's one thing to be passionate and exceptional at what you do (which she is), but it's a whole other thing to be warm, supportive, and truly caring of your clients. I felt that right from the start. She sincerely cared about getting to know us, who we are individually and as a couple, and what we envisioned for our wedding day. It carried through from our engagement photoshoot, all the way to the big day!
She is also a queen of organization, details, and preparation! She picked the perfect locations based on what we wanted, which she scouted beforehand and made sure that we were fully prepared for (in case of rain, permits, lighting, etc) – she thought of everything and we so appreciated that!! A true indication of professionalism and care. She was so thorough and patient in planning the day-of itinerary, making sure to go over every detail and plan for delays, as well as coordinating with the video team. We were so happy with how it all flowed, and felt so reassured that we wouldn't be too rushed for photos because of her experience and expertise. That was a real gift.
I also have to mention how great she was at rolling with the punches when not everything went according to plan. When we needed to make adjustments on the fly, we felt zero pressure from either of the photo/video teams. That meant a lot. Especially when we had to take family photos (with a lot of different people), Raphaëlle was so calm, which made all the difference.
Last but not least, we are obsessed with the teaser photos – which she sent to us THE VERY NEXT DAY! It was so nice for us to look at them during our honeymoon and relive the day. She captured the precious moments and the fun party moments, just as we hoped! To say we are excited for the rest of the pictures is a HUGE understatement! How will we ever choose which ones to pick for our photo album haha... but it's a great problem to have! :)
Raphaëlle, I know you have transitioned to doing intimate weddings and elopements, but just know that you were a huge hit at our huge wedding! We feel very lucky that we were able to have you as a photographer on our special day. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
