Nomo from simplysweet was an absolutely amazing person to work with. She went above and beyond when it came to our wedding.
From the engagement shoot to spending 4 days taking pictures of us during our wedding, she did it all with a smile. She made sure to keep the photoshoots comfortable and helped us relax.
The team did a great job capturing our family and friends as well and the final pictures we received went above our imagination.
Nomo and her team even carried my wifes reception gown for 20 minutes while we walked to our photoshoot destination.
She made her look like royalty with the poses she suggested.
Overall she was so thoughtful from day one and innovative with her vision of our wedding.

From the moment we connected with Simply Sweet Photography, we knew we were in the best hands for our Indian wedding week. When we had our onboarding on Zoom and just seeing the care of the team, I knew we had made the most amazing choice to capture all our precious memories for our whole wedding week. Their attention to detail, artistic vision, and ability to capture every heartfelt moment were beyond anything we could have imagined. And they are the nicest photographers we have ever worked with. Many of our guests asked about the photographers also!

Indian weddings are very busy and can be hectic with countless moving parts, and emotional moments that unfold in real-time. Simply Sweet handled it all with such ease and grace, making the entire process feel effortless. They weren’t just photographers; they became an integral part of our wedding journey, blending into each event and fitting in with all of our family so well while making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

They took the time to understand our vision, our family dynamics, the nuances of each ceremony, had ample suggestions also when we weren't totally sure about locations to get the best photos ensuring that every shot felt authentic and meaningful. Nomo and her team photographed our engagement session, bridal shower and wedding and I was truly impressed by their work and quality of photos. We had so many great photos to choose from and some of the photos were very artistic / looked like they were from a magazine - only an extremely talented/ experienced photographer can capture moments as such (my husband and I aren't models or good at posing). I was also impressed at how responsive Nomo was to emails/ texts and how fast we got all of our photos back. If you're looking for light, airy, natural looking photos, Nomo is probably the best photographer for the job in BC. I will definitely hire Nomo and her team again in the future :)

Nomo’s photography skills are truly one of a kind, and she’s also the sweetest person to work with. Although we're not from Vancouver, we decided to have a destination wedding there and began our search for vendors. Very quickly, Nomo’s name kept coming up in conversations, always in the best light. I can honestly say everything we heard about her was absolutely true. The photos for Simply Sweet Photography truly speak for themselves; as soon as we saw their portfolio of work, my partner and I were in love! We were so lucky to get them for our big day. But beyond their gorgeous, ethereal photos (which I could absolutely go on and on about), they were so incredibly friendly and professional in every way possible.

Day of, they were so kind and accomodating and were able to pop themselves where they needed to get the perfect shots during the ceremony, without us even noticing! They were so discreet that when we were looking at the photos I thought to myself, "how did she even get this shot?"

The ceremony shots are incredible; they got every shot I dreamed about. Me walking in with my parents, my partner's reaction to my dress, both of our reactions to the vows, the kiss, the little silly moments. After we took family photos, Gabrielle even managed to coral all our guests (20+ people) to get an amazing group photo! I thought it'd be too ambitious but she had everyone in the shot and now it's a keepsake forever!

When we went off on our own for couples photos, Gabrielle made things so comfortable. My partner and I don't take photos very often and are not the best at posing... but you could NOT tell from the photos we got. She made us look and feel so natural in the photos.  And the framing of each shot is fantastic; beautiful depth of field, foreground flowers and creative uses of the tulle on my dress to create a wispy veil framing. So stunning!

We got the raw files to pick our favorites and the uneditted photos alone were stunning; I showed some of my friends and they thought they were fully editted already. And then the editted photos came in and wow!! It truly makes the day like an ethereal fairy tale. Nomo went in and took out my farmers tan (the one regret I had that day, gone in an instant!) and used such care to make sure every photo was beautiful.

Craziest of all, the turnaround time was SHOCKINGLY fast. We had the raw files basically 24 hours later and then the fully editted photos came in two days after that. When you're still riding your wedding high it's amazing to get your photos so fast!
