Julia and her partner did an amazing job capturing our destination wedding in Corfu, Greece. Everyone loved our photos. I loved the fact she brought both digital and film cameras. There is nothing like a good old film camera to achieve high quality, printable photos. Because it was a destination wedding, we didn’t know the area very well, but Julia coordinated with our wedding planner and found many beautiful spots ahead of time. To top it, we had a wonderful sunset session on the beach, right after the wedding ceremony. Finally, the physical velvet box with printed photos is just lovely. Julia pays attention to all details, even after the wedding!

Like most young girls, I grew up dreaming of my wedding day and imagining all of the perfect little details. I knew from the offset that one of the most important elements of the day would be the photography - it would be the lasting memory of the day in print, that would help us recall those little details and reminisce in years to come. We chose to get married in Tuscany, Italy, and I spent many months searching for a photographer that captured the mood and aesthetic I was looking for, with no luck. I was starting to despair, until one day Julia popped up in my list of suggested follows on Instagram. From the second I viewed her stunning images, I knew she was the perfect person to capture our special day. This conviction was cemented in place when I spoke to Julia - not only is she a lovely, warm person, but she is a consummate professional with incredible vision and an amazing eye for detail. She made everything so easy, from those first conversations online to the wedding day itself, when she moved effortlessly through the party capturing every special moment to perfection. Herself & Valdimir were a lovely, calming influence on the wedding morning and having scouted the location the day before, she picked some beautiful spots in which to take our photos. The final result was simply breathtaking and beyond anything I could have imagined. Her pictures evoke fond and warm memories of our most special day and we will treasure them forever. She is a true artist.
Enlisting Julia Kaptelova to photograph our wedding in Ravello was one of the best decisions we could have made! She arrived the day before to capture our Welcome Dinner and we loved working with her both days. She was very discreet, letting us enjoy the moment while still capturing everything. We were so lucky to have her with us in Italy, and will cherish her beautiful photos forever.
Julia and her team did an excellent job! I don't think I have ever seen such beautiful pictures of my husband and myself. One does a photoshoot and hopes to get a two or three perfect shots but with Julia every singly picture was my favorite. Made it super hard to pick just three for the Thank You Note :) In addition, Julia and her team are extremely hardworking: she was there way before the beginning and until the end of both my rehearsal dinner and a wedding day. I can't speak more highly of Julia! My husband and I hired her to shoot our wedding and engagement photos for our wedding in Positano, Italy. After stalking her instagram & blog, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer turned friend to work with! They were on time, responsive, gave great directions (as we aren't models!), and took the MOST STUNNING photos of our wedding day! Julia's experience as well as her extremely warm and outgoing personality, made us and our family/bridal party feel so comfortable. I absolutely recommend her - she goes above and beyond and truly is beautiful inside and out.
