I actually forgot to wear my engagement ring to our engagement shoot and was an emotional mess when we first met, but Danaea and Silas handled it with so much patience, kindness and humour. They found different ways to pose us so it wasn't obvious and still made the photos look stunning and romantic!
For our wedding day, Danaea and Silas were professional, organized and GREAT vibes. They captured every special moment that we might have missed, and looking at the photos made us laugh and cry. We were absolutely blown away by all the photos, and we will cherish them forever!!

We honestly don’t know how the Godards did it. They captured every single moment of our wedding day - the big emotional stuff, the tiny blink-and-you-miss-it moments (that somehow they didn’t miss), and all the chaotic joy in between. The photos are stunning, cinematic, and completely real. We’ve looked through them about 20 times already and still tear up (and laugh) every time.
Beyond the photos themselves (which we’re already printing, framing, and shamelessly showing to everyone), they were an absolute joy to have around on the day. Calm, kind, professional, but also warm, funny, and just the kind of people you want in the room during all these big moments.
Truly, we’re so grateful for the way they captured us with such care and artistry.

Danaea and Silas photographed our engagement shoot, our wedding ceremony, and our reception. It is an absolute privilege to have them capture our special moments from our big day. They have a keen eye for beautiful landscapes and good lighting, and of course with our inexperience posing for the camera, it's so helpful having this lovely photgrapher couple show us how it's done. They were well-versed with our schedule but still have room for some flexibility, and their humour and stories helped us get through a hectic day. They also have a quick turnaround on our photo previews. I would most certainly recommend their services.

The Godards are simply phenomenal! Let's start with the non-obvious - they were so fun to be our partners on the day of our wedding. We got married on one of the rainiest days of the year. They made us feel taken care of, they were bold and confident about where/how to take the photos, and they were such a joy to be around. And the photos themselves - they were bright and beautiful. It perfectly captured the special day, without shying away from the ~unique~ weather we had the privilege of enjoying. We wholeheartedly recommend The Godards!

Danaea and Silas were amazing! We were only planning to do an engagement photo shoot with them a couple years back, since our wedding was suppose to be a destination wedding. However, we have to cancel that plan in a last minute and do an elopement in Vancouver instead. Left with only a couple weeks to plan, with no vendors or plan. Since we were so happy with our engagement photos, it was a no brainer for us to go with them again as our wedding photographer. They were very accommodating, from helping us with the timeline to the location recommendation. Our wedding photos looked amazing; they were able to capture all the important moments during the day. They are truly the complete package; highly recommend them for your engagement to the wedding day!
The Godards are truly wonderful people - both in their craft as photographers but as well as getting to know the couples! They made us feel so comfortable and confident during our engagement shoot and moreso on our wedding day. You can see their quality of work, attention to detail, and care in every photo. We love looking back at our wedding album because we’re reminded of one of our best days ever and the amazing experience we had with both Danaea and Silas!
