I was always into arts growing up, and during secondary school, I joined a photography club where I learned about film photography and darkroom. After high school, I was given my first DSLR camera as a gift and that was when photography became my full-fledged hobby. I then went on to study Fine Art Photography in university. I pursued photography right after I finished school starting from fashion beauty beauty photography then evolving to wedding photography.

Meg is one of the best photographers I ever worked with. On the wedding day, she is always smiling, looking for the best spots for the couple and the bridal party to take the most beautiful photos. She even brought her own dress hanger to replace the bride's plastic one so the photo can look more beautiful. He attention to details impressed everyone. At the end when the hours end and the couple is still doing table toast, Meg was very kind and generous and said that she was willing to stay to capture more photos for the couple. We can all feel that she has a heart for the couple and truly wanted to capture the memories for them instead of treating it as a photographer job. I recommend Meg's service to every couple that is looking for a wedding photographer.
I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Artiese photography and the breathtaking photos they have gifted us with. Our associate photographer Meg Lowrie is by far one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met and she navigated our large families and enthusiastic wedding party with ease. She captured every moment of our wedding so perfectly that I feel like I am reliving the day all over again just by looking through our photos. Nothing about our photos feels forced or overly posed, but rather, every shot feels natural, effortless and timeless. The best way I can put it, is that Meg truly captured the magic of the day for us in a way that was more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for. Meg is not only a gifted photographer, but is also the kind of person who makes you feel so known, celebrated, and appreciated. Her calming, thoughtful presence is exactly what anyone would want in a wedding photographer, and it was an absolute honour to spend our day with her. Choosing Meg to be our photographer was by far, one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process and we will treasure the photos she has captured for us so dearly.
Meg went above and beyond as our associate photographer. For two shy people who are not often in front of the camera, she made us feel comfortable, relaxed and provided us with just the right amount of direction. It is apparent from the beginning that Meg is personable, diligent and takes great care in what she does. On the day of the wedding, Meg's enthusiasm and calmness was just what we needed. This review is by far overdue but I finally have the time to gather my thoughts and put my appreciation into words. I met Meg for the first time last year, when she was one of the photographers for my cousin's wedding. I was in the bridal party and was completely blown away by how warm and personable she was. I instantly knew that I had to have her photograph one of my special events one day. Well, fast forward to last month when my fiancé and I had the greatest pleasure of having Meg photograph our engagement shoot! Meg really does go the extra mile to capture the connection between you and your partner. Throughout the shoot, she made the effort to really get to know my fiancé and I, which made our photoshoot feel all that more meaningful. I initially came into the photoshoot nervous because I can be a little camera shy, and I was worried that my awkwardness would show in the pictures. However, when I met her and had a conversation with her, all of that just went away. And that's just Meg! Her kindness, grace and warmth makes you feel at ease in an instant. Her attention to detail throughout our shoot was incredible! I would recommend Meg to anyone and everyone because her love and passion for photography really shines through everything she does (her work, conversation, smile, etc). Meg has really made a lasting impact on my fiancé and I. These pictures will last a lifetime and I couldn't be more happier that Meg was behind the camera.
Therese is amazing!!!! She is exceptionally talented and knows how to perfectly capture every moment of the day. On top of being an incredible photographer, Therese is an amazing person who we loved getting to know and made us feel very natural/comfortable while taking photos on our wedding day. We also ordered a fine art album as a keepsake to look back on for years to come and it exceeded all of our expectations. We are so excited to show our family and friends. Meg went above and beyond our greatest dreams for our wedding day! From the moment we met her for our engagement shoot, we knew we were in good hands. She has such a natural eye for photography, that the shots turned out beautifully -- and Therese has such a gift for editing the photos to be dreamy and magical. Due to various circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Meg worked with us longer than we paid for, and since we had a smaller guest count than intended, Meg honoured our guests by taking photos of them throughout the evening. She was so gracious and so kind, we loved having her join our big day. My MOH raved about how wonderful Meg was, from the way she could work with a crowd (not to the mention the kids), to the thorough way she communicated with us to make sure the day was perfect. She slipped around undetected to capture the ceremony, and remained professional throughout the reception, though she felt just like one of the friends. Though we didn't get to work too much with Therese, she was just as lovely, working seamlessly with Meg to produce stunning photos. All-in-all, we would recommend Meg to anyone; her gentle and gracious spirit makes everyone she meets warm up to her immediately, and her talent is beyond words. We are extremely happy with our choice to have ARTIESE capture our day.
Meg shot our wedding this past Saturday. We are so incredibly happy with our decision to choose Meg. She was so professional but also so incredibly kind, it felt like a friend taking our photos. She was so good with our families/bridal party and especially the little kids trying to get the best shots possible. She has so much attention to detail and she made sure we got everything we wanted and more. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
