The Villa passed from Anna Menotti Piccolomini to her son Nicolò, a count-actor who, following his premature death during the Second World War, left his splendid residence as a legacy to his fellow theater actors. The villa is surrounded by a large park overlooking St. Peter's Basilica and, among the pine trees and the greenery of the estate's vegetable gardens, from the ancient portico that runs alongside the Italian garden you can glimpse Michelangelo's majestic Dome.
