Wow wow wow! We booked Joab a long time ago for our summer 2025 wedding because he’s brilliant! We finally got around to booking our engagement shoot in Oxford in May 2025 and it fully confirmed how great he is and why we booked him! Cannot wait for Joab to shoot our wedding in July! Some samples below, but every single photo was fab!! Editorial, documentary, relaxed, natural, candid, artistic. All the reasons we booked him. You will not be disappointed!
We had such a great experience with Joab at our wedding! From the get-go, he was super friendly, approachable, and made us feel so comfortable, despite neither of us being very confident in front of the camera. He arrived promptly and got right to work. You can really tell he loves what he does—his energy was infectious and he just made everything so easy. He was always in the right place at the right time, getting all of the beautiful moments without ever feeling in the way. He put so much effort into making sure we had the best photos possible and really went above and beyond. The final photos speak for themselves. We’re absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! Thank you Joab!
We have just received our official photos through from Joab and wow, what a way to banish the January blues. They are absolute perfection! If like us you see your wedding photos as one of the most important investments of your day. Then look no further than Joab.
He captures a perfect balance between beautiful candid moments and more formal shots. The photos are also beautifully edited without looking overdone. However, all of this is only possible because he is the ultimate professional. He creates a relaxed, comfortable and fun atmosphere that gets the best out of you and your guests. He was an absolute pleasure to have around and all our guests say the same. Not to mention, he’s a great hype man whilst you’re getting ready!

It’s taken us a while to write this review, simply because we are not sure our words have the gravity to express our gratitude to Joab and the magic that is his work. I’m pretty sure we will always be awestruck by his skill….our photos speak for themselves, they are absolutely breathtaking!
From the moment we met Joab, we just knew we had hit the jackpot. His work on his website is unreal and when he said he had availability for both our legal ceremony and our big wedding, we were over the moon! But it was when we started to meet our other suppliers and people from the wedding industry that we realised we REALLY had hit the jackpot; responses like ‘OMG, he is the best there is… utterly magnificent’, and ‘he is a complete ninja’, and they weren’t wrong!
My husband and I are far from your Instagram couple, but we wanted photos that felt natural and looked beautiful all at once! He totally ‘got us’ and made us feel so comfortable from the get-go. Nothing felt posed or unnatural - we just felt like us. Joab has this amazing ability to move without a sound, be everywhere without being noticed, but the skill that blows my mind… he can walk into a room full of people he doesn’t know and capture their energy and spirit as if he has known them his whole life! It’s extraordinary!
If only we could see the world through Joab’s lens… it really would be heaven on earth. I honestly believe no other photos will ever be taken of us that will bring us the same warmth, beauty and joy as Joab’s do. Our hearts are so full with gratitude for the way Joab captured our love so exquisitely. We will treasure them forever and they will decorate the walls of our and our family’s homes for generations to come. Joab, you really are one of a kind, boundless talent and completely unrivalled, there are no words that come close to putting value to the gift you have given us xxx.

Joab’s photos are the definition of magical. Photography was one of my most important aspects of the wedding and we are so happy we found Joab. Every single photos he takes he treats like a work of art. He’s also incredibly kind, puts you at ease, and takes great pride in his work. His work is truly breathtaking!
Joab was a phenomenal addition to our wedding! His photos are consistently stunning, and there are so many of them! He made us feel very comfortable, and his ideas for particular settings/ poses were absolutely beautiful. Joab was so unobtrusive that we barely noticed he was there, and yet he managed to capture everything we wanted even before we knew we wanted it! He is also just a wonderful person to have to your wedding, and we could not recommend him more highly. Thank you Joab!
After looking at what felt like hundreds of photographers, we finally found Joab. We were getting married in February, so it was important to us that we found a photographer that was good at dusk shots amongst other things. We absolutely loved his style and his photography and set a zoom call up straight away, within the first couple of minutes of our phone call we knew we had found our guy.
From that we booked an engagement photo shoot which was amazing. We had such a lovely day and the photos came out absolutely beautiful and we have just had our wedding photographed. We have only seen a few of the teaser shots but already are blown away by his photography skills, not only that how he made us feel on the day. It felt like we had known Joan forever, and he really got the time to know us as a couple.
All of our guests commented on how lovely he was and how he and the videographer did not stop running around all day to make sure all of our special moments were captured. They did not stop working the entire day and we will always be grateful for this. On top of everything provided, amazing energy, which is what we wanted for our big day.
We are sure this will not be the last time we use Jobe. We just need another good excuse as to why we might need a photographer. Thanks again you are a complete legend!
