As a bride who doesn’t love being the center of attention and doesn’t feel very photogenic at all, you wouldn’t be able to tell because they made me feel so comfortable and beautiful the second they walked in to the room.
They helped me each step of the way and were in two places at once capturing amazing things for the groom and guests as well!

We watched the video they captured and created for us and it brought all the incredible memories back and brought us both to tears.

JUST AMAZING! Fred and Melissa are true professionals - it was difficult to find the words to truly describe how incredible they made our day (and how perfect the photos were) but I’ve tried to summarize below:

Upon arrival, Fred and Mel put my wife and I both at ease immediately. They were calm, cool and collected, and operated with precision to direct both the bride and groom parties throughout the afternoon.

We were never rushed, but always stayed on schedule and I appreciated that so much. With all the chaos going on throughout our wedding day Fred and Mel were a breath of fresh air that had us both relaxed and looking our best for our photos!! Not to mention they are both fun and hilarious and had our groups having a blast while taking our pictures. Normally photos aren’t  the “fun” part of the wedding, but they made it fun which we really appreciated.

Their style is exactly what we looked for - moody, artistic, and captured our vibe perfectly. They did a great job of directing our group for angles, creative shots, and most importantly the candids. The best part about their style is that they become a fly on the wall and captured the essence of the moment in a way that I’ve never seen before.

We just received our photos back and we are so thrilled!!

Cannot recommend them more for anyone looking for photography services - my wife and I wished they could have stayed to hangout with our group after the wedding - such lovely people.

Mel and Fred are so much fun to work with and made us feel so at ease. When it comes to photographers especially, it is SO important to hire someone who can make you feel relaxed and comfortable, especially on a day where emotions are running so high. Their turnaround time was fast and we got a 50 photo preview about a week after our wedding. The editing style is so chic and sexy. They did a great job in capturing the small moments in a natural style, and we can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

Me and my husband are more than happy we chose Fred and Mel to arrange and capture our intimate and unforgettable elopement day in Tulum. We both don’t like to pose in front of cameras but they made the photo shoots very natural and pleasant. They are both very nice and easy going as well as super creative. They got the talent to spot and capture with passion the little loving moments in such a special day between a couple.

I don't know where to begin! I feel so blessed that I found Fred & Mel with Memory Box Photography. I am so impressed and amazed by how our special day was captured. Not only that, but the way they run their business is astounding too. My initial email was returned promptly and within a week I got to meet Fred over Skype. It was awesome to be able to connect and meet even though we live in different countries. They made my wedding day feel so easy, and made getting our photos taken fun. Memory Box was an incredible addition to our wedding day. Berni was very relaxed in his approach to our photos, which is exactly what we wanted. He balanced allowing us to just enjoy the moment, while ensuring we took memorable pictures with the family as well. Both of our candid as well as 'posed' (but didn't look posed) photos turned out better than we ever expected. I highly recommend Memory Box to friends and family alike.

Words really do not describe how wonderful and amazing these two are in capturing the beautiful moments and being so fun and supportive every time they were with us to take photos. We splurged and got the biggest package, and wish they were with us for more of the time! The photographs were the most important part of our wedding, and I could not have asked for a better result. I am so thrilled with all of the photos, and can honestly say I have never really liked any pictures of me and I now have os many that I love. They are artistic and unique, and I will cherish them always. From the moment Fred & Mel arrived, they were so much fun! And there is unbelieavable talent between the two of them. They see art in ways I never could, stopping along our drive to take quick shots as backdrops stood out. They kept it casual and comfortable as though you dont even realize you're being photographed, and they are so kind and down to earth. I'm pretty sure every shot they took was a "keeper". I would hire them again and again. Highly recommend!

I found Fred and Mel through a random Instagram post and immediately got lost in their work.  We hired them for our wedding and couldn't have been happier - it was amazing to work with people so incredibly talented and friendly.  As someone who doesn't normally feel comfortable in front of the camera, they do a wonderful job at making you feel at ease.  We HIGHLY recommend that if you get the chance to, hire them!  You won't regret it!
