Castello di Rossino Venue

We recently got married at Castello di Rossino. We are based in Australia so had limited opportunities to go to the venue, in fact we booked it based on a call with Lisa and the reviews. We did get to visit a year before the wedding and we were not disappointed and the gamble we took booking a venue unseen paid off - it's absolutely beautiful and photos don't do it justice. The wedding was everything we dreamed of an more, it's such a beautiful setting and is a really relaxed and comfortable environment - it was the most perfect day and so many people said it was the best wedding they had been to. We were so happy with everything and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone.

We had the most magical wedding at Castello di Rossino. The breathtaking views of Lake Como and the surrounding vineyards created an enchanting atmosphere. The spacious venue allowed our guests to move comfortably between the ceremony and reception areas. We were especially grateful for the on-site accommodations, providing a convenient place to rest after the celebration. Every detail was perfect, making our special day truly unforgettable.

We had our Indo-Swiss wedding at Castello di Rossino in August 2023, and it was absolutely amazing! We had two ceremonies in one day, and the team pulled everything together perfectly. The location is beyond gorgeous, with stunning views, and the food was incredible. The staff made the whole day run smoothly, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and well-organized it all was. If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with awesome service, Castello di Rossino is the place. Couldn’t recommend it more!

When my husband and I first got engaged we decided we wanted to be married in Italy. He is from Friuli Venezia Giulia, so it made sense to get married abroad. We knew Lake Como would be an excellent choice. We came across this incredible place, Castello di Rossino, and thought “we could never pull that off”, but we decided to inquire anyway. I’m so happy we did.

Upon connecting with Lisa, we were immediately struck by her impeccable organization and professionalism. Working with her was an absolute pleasure. As our dream started to materialize, she expertly guided us in selecting the right vendors and introduced us to Marta. I can't say enough nice things about Marta. Her kindness, open communication, and invaluable assistance made us feel very confident throughout the whole process. We couldn’t have done it without these two. They are nothing short of amazing.

The castle itself is a page torn from a fairytale. Living abroad, my only glimpses were through the castle's website and social media channels. While the images are absolutely stunning, nothing compares to seeing it in person. I will never forget the moment I first saw it. The location is absolutely incredible, as well. It truly is a dream come true.

The Castello di Rossino team operates with a precision that is truly awe-inspiring. Each member exudes a palpable pride in their work, and their meticulous attention to detail is evident in every facet. The transformation they orchestrated was nothing short of breathtaking.

On a day when minor mishaps are expected, it's with complete confidence that I can affirm that not a single thing was amiss. We can't stop marveling at the team's impeccable organization. Their efforts made our day flawless, leaving me with nothing to do but relish in the most important day of my life. I can’t thank them enough for this.

Our guests continue to remind us that it was "the best wedding ever." This sentiment is so true, and we owe it all to the Castello di Rossino team.

The castle is a beautiful location for a wedding. The views there are breathtaking.

The team we had supporting us on the day were very attentive. There was a storm just as the wedding began and so everything had to be moved inside at the very last minute, but the team handled this professionally and were able to minimise the stress for myself and the groom.

Lisa and the rest of the team are clearly very passionate about event planning and have set up a great business for it. Everyone who we encountered was friendly, professional, and were on standby for any questions that we had.

As beautiful as the venue is, it is an expensive wedding location. There were also quite a few additional costs which weren’t specified up front and so it was very difficult to get an idea of budget/cost early on.

There is also a tendency to really push the vendors who the castle works directly with, even though sometimes they don’t feel like the best fit/the most affordable and so it’s definitely worth doing your own research on vendors to see what’s best for you.

I can only recommend Castello di Rossino: perfect all-in-one venue where the ceremony, aperitif, dinner and party can all happen in various area of the castle, making for a perfect day. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the support team responsive and helpful and the pre-selection of supplier quite comprehensive (food, music, photography, flowers, etc.). I would also strongly suggest to organize shuttle transfers between Lecco and Castello di Rossino before and after the wedding due to the poor taxi coverage in the area (I used LarioBus).

We booked Castello di Rossino following a zoom meeting with the owner Lisa after looking through the various videos/photos. We then went to visit the castle some months later and it really was amazing…..just like the photos.
Lisa and Giorgia were most helpful throughout our wedding planning journey, they both answered our questions timely.
All of the castle staff went above and beyond on our wedding day (Saturday 9th September 2023).
Unfortunately Lisa wasn’t able to be present on our big day, to our surprise we met her brother/Co partner and his wife. Although they were very nice and welcoming, they weren’t briefed on our wedding day plans and at times interfered a little too often.

Castello di Rossino is a truly beautiful wedding venue and has given us very special memories to cherish forever.

My now wife Susan and I found this location a year in advance on wedding wire. Living in California she was a bit skeptical about booking a place we have never been to so we planned to visit before the wedding but never got the opportunity to get to Italy. We took a big risk in booking the venue never seeing it, booking the food and never tasting, and using Lisa the owner as our wedding planner.
Our Experience:
The castle is amazing and well kept literally felt like a fairy tale wedding. Lisa was so helpful as a wedding planner and all the vendors we used were top notch. We opted for Susan to enter the castle in a horse and carriage and this was the only hiccup we experienced as one of the horses slipped and fell into the other horse leaving them a bit scared to climb the entrance. The staff and the photographers handled it very well as we did end up getting some great pictures and video with the horse and carriage so it was a minor problem.
I can only speak in high regards to everyone involved with our wedding, Laura with the flowers, Guilia with the food, Mangili the photographers, Franco Pozzi for amazing fireworks, Fillipo for our music and Lisa as our planner were all a joy to work with and took a lot of stress off of us and our literally perfect day. We highly recommend this venue and its staff for wonderful time.

From initiating contact with Lisa and the team at Castello di Rossino, we have had utmost trust in their every suggestion and recommendation, not only for the day itself but also the vendors.

Every vendor we worked with throughout the wedding was professional and friendly and we had an unforgettable day.

Our guests loved the wedding and complimented the venue at every opportunity. We have zero hesitations in recommending the venue to others.
