As a full time working bride with a crazy work and travel schedule I knew I needed guidance along the way to make my wedding day vision a reality. I really wanted to “enjoy the day” as many past brides and family had said. This is why I entrusted Daniela and and her assistant Francesca with my wedding coordination, she ensured a flawless wedding day! She worked through everything with me leading up to the wedding with many last minute changes and additions. All her suggestions were amazing and truly made for the Best Day Ever! If you are looking for an extremely organized, helpful and professional wedding coordinator with a passion for her clients then I would highly encourage you to use SUGAR EVENTS - Daniela & Team!
We are an international family whose daughter married a man from Milan and so we organized the wedding in Milan long distance from the USA which presented many challenges.
Daniela and Francesca proved to be utter professionals. Daniela knows the industry well and executes with such grace and style. She is incredibly reliable( answering every email promptly) and is both self assured and trustworthy and transparent in her dealings. She is also exceptionally well organized and demonstrates integrity throughout the process. She favors using her own vendors which I was initially concerned about until the day the day of the wedding when I finally understood why! Each one of the vendors came through in spades! The flowers were absolutely magnificent and the food was the best both myself and our guests have ever experienced at a wedding . The entire event was simply exceptional. She uses vendors she knows because they are reliable, professional and perform at a very high level! The wedding she put on for us was exquisite. I have very high expectations and am not new to this, having recently done a wedding for my other daughter in California. I probably was not an easy client for her either :) If you want your wedding to run smoothly and to be executed with utter elegance, class and style then go ahead and use Sugar Events. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I would rehire over and over again. Thank you Daniela ! You are a class act!

Choosing Daniela as our wedding planner was undoubtedly the best decision we made. Our dream venue, though gorgeous, was a bit of a puzzle to work with due to its many requirements. But when we stumbled upon Daniela's website and chatted with her, we just had this feeling she'd be able to handle it. She got us right away – from our big picture wedding theme down to the tiniest details and our budget constraints. She never overpromised, yet she had this knack for understanding exactly what we wanted. Communicating with her was a breeze; she was always on the ball, super resourceful, and incredibly thoughtful, always looking at things from our perspective as the couple. Having her as our planner was a real blessing. And let me tell you, our wedding? It left everyone speechless, all thanks to Daniela's magic touch!
When we say, we can recommend Sugar Events as wedding planners, we mean it maybe like no other couple. To select our wedding planners, we contacted a venue at Lake Como where we wanted to get married. They shared with us their preferred supplier list of wedding planners - we expected perhaps 5-6...however there were just over 150. We reviewed them all. After our own selection criteria we contacted 33 of them for quotes and packages. No single wedding planner was faster, had a better value offering, were as attentive and personalised in their messaging. It was an easy selection. SugarEvents is a small, personal planning company who listens, are attentive, have high attention to detail, are precise and offer solutions. Given their experience around Lake Como we were able to benefit some preferential offers of wider suppliers. We personally liked their approach, they kept us on track without being pushy and pushed back on some things that might have been a little unrealistic in a friendly and cooperative manner. On the wedding day they showed the perfect balance of structure, sticking to the plan and thoughtful flexibility where it needed it. We couldn't recommend SugarEvents more to anyone who is planning their wedding around Lake Como.
My wife and I connected with Daniela and Francesca from SugarEvents, and despite us being in a completely different country (USA), we had a great experience. Wedding planning is challenging enough, but having to navigate it in a different country made for some serious anxiety inducing moments. But Daniela and Francesca were very helpful and responsive early on to put our concerns at ease. They were always just a quick email away for any questions and were very quick to schedule a call for us if we had more to discuss via a video call.
Ironically, due to the venue and team we chose, we couldn't hand pick most of our big picture choices like catering company, DJ, and flowers - but it actually made the planning process SO MUCH easier. The hardest part was learning to let go and trusting the team and their reputation. And though we had our concerns, they did not disappoint. Everything came beautifully and our guests LOVED the experience put on by the team. They really lived up to their reputation, and we're always wishing we could go back to re-experience our wedding day again.

Daniela and her team have been incredible on the day of the wedding. Very discrete but in charge of the whole event. They managed all the different suppliers making sure every details was done perfectly and we were quite impressed with the result! Thank you for your work Daniela & team!
