Me and my husband got married in the stunning location of Lake Garda, Italy in August 2024. We cannot recommend Roberta enough! From our first meeting, it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our wedding special and memorable. Her attention to detail and creative ideas transformed our vision into reality. Roberta is organized, always keeping us informed and handling all the logistics with ease. She has great local knowledge, a wide network and always recommended the best of the best in terms of photographers, flowers and decorations, venues, DJ and live music. Roberta has maintained open communication, promptly addressed any questions or concerns we had. In addition to taking care of our wishes, she made wonderful suggestions that we would not be able to think about ourselves. On the big day, everything went flawlessly, and it truly felt like a dream. Thanks to Roberta and her amazing team, we were able to fully enjoy our celebration without any worries. If you’re looking for a passionate, dedicated, and talented wedding planner, look no further! Thank you Roberta, we are so grateful.
Roberta was an amazing wedding planner! We worked with her to organize a gorgeous wedding in Verona, while living in California. She helped us find a venue, plan vendors and also incorporate different cultural traditions between myself and my husband. Roberta really gave us the wedding of our dreams and we are so grateful!
After Roberta planned my brother-in-law's wedding back in 2019, we knew when we decided to get married in Italy last year that there was only one person we could trust to help us pull off the weekend that we wanted. Professional yet incredibly personable, Roberta brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to everything Italian-wedding-related. We had quite a specific vision of what we wanted - romantic Italian 3 day weekend... with a bit of an Anglo/Scottish twist. Not only were we presented with the best venues, the best caterers, accommodating bar options, but all of the added extras (including a bagpiper...!) that was never too big-an-ask, but made the day even more special. We honestly had the most amazing experience working with Roberta for our wedding & we could not recommend her enough.
If you’re looking for a wedding planner, stop! Choose Roberta. It was our best decision. I was looking for someone who could help me realise the wedding of my dreams and support me in enjoying the creative process. Roberta did exactly that.
She is a fabulous listener, seeking to understand YOU and helping you realise your vision. If you need ideas, she recommends. If you need creativity, she has wonderful ideas. If you need some creative ways to cut costs, she can rise to the challenge. If you have certain aspects that you are NOT willing to compromise, she can rise to high standards. I found her incredibly adaptable but also clear and fair when it was necessary. She’s a beautiful combination of lightness, fun and support mixed with boundaries and clarity. During a time of great importance with lots to think about and lots of decisions to be made (the planning process), I was especially grateful for her clarity when it came to deadlines, budget and options.
Finally, Roberta has a gift for her human touch. One of my family members was particularly excited and interested (anxious) in the wedding details on the day of the ceremony. Unknown to us, Roberta invited this person to go take a sneak peak of the magical dinner tables all by herself. It was a super sweet gesture that made our family member feel special and included and reassured that everything was just perfect. This moment was a stroke of genius. And it’s a small but significant way that Roberta worked her magic to make our day the best day of our lives. We didn’t have to lift a finger and we were 100% confident that every single detail was taken care of.

Roberta is absolutely amazing! She was with us from day 1 when we decided to get married in Florence for our destination wedding. She made the entire process seamless, efficient and super easy on us- we weren't stressed at all- I was actually stressed about not feeling stressed! She takes meticulous notes, has great recommendations and relationships for all kinds of service providers and just fully understands your vision. She brought our dream wedding to life- and even exceeded our wildest dreams about what our wedding should be. She is super kind, thoughtful, detail oriented, extremely responsiveness and just an absolute delight to work with. Our entire guest list was excited to meet her and they all raved about her and her planning on the day of the wedding and our welcome dinner. She is without a doubt the best in the business - and every service provider in Italy knows her! Conversando con altri commensali ho saputo che gli sposi si erano affidati alla wedding planner Roberta Pompeo di The Different Twins. Non posso che complimentarmi con l’organizzatrice per essere stata la regista del film più bello che è la vita. Merita davvero l’Oscar.

Roberta is nothing short of exceptional! We worked together for 2 years and she brought every aspect of our vision to life to make our wedding day feel like a fairytale. Throughout the planning process she assisted us in finding with vendors aligned to our vision and helped coordinate trials when we visited to do our site visit. Her organization, patience, and expertise made the entire planning process so easy - even from so many miles away. Ourselves, and all our guests, were amazed by the coordination to make travel so seamless and for the picture perfect celebrations from the welcome dinner to rehearsal to wedding day. We are so appreciative and thankful to have worked with such a wonderful person who truly is passionate about what she does!

Inizio con il precisare che per il nostro matrimonio non abbiamo stipulato un accordo diretto con Roberta ma abbiamo avuto il piacere e la fortuna di conoscerla in quanto la struttura da noi scelta aveva una collaborazione con Roberta, la quale offriva un servizio di consulenza. Roberta però è stata molto di più di una semplice consulente, è sempre stata disponibile e gentile dandoci preziosi consigli. Il suo supporto nei nostri confronti è stato davvero importante e fondamentale e maggiore rispetto a quello che le spettava. Tutta la parte da lei seguita è stata assolutamente perfetta, dalla gestione degli spazi allo svolgimento del ricevimento (considerando che il nostro era un matrimonio di 200 persone quindi un evento grande ch’è stato gestito in modo impeccabile). Ci riteniamo davvero fortunati ad aver incontrato una Professionista come lei. Roberta mette anima e cuore in quello che fa, e la passione per il suo lavoro si percepisce poi nei risultati. Ci ha aiutato a realizzare il nostro matrimonio ch’è stato meraviglioso e ch’è rimasto nei nostri cuori e in quelli dei nostri invitati. Truly lucky to have had Roberta on our team. We didn't step foot into Italy before the wedding but everything was taken care of. All of the vendors were lovely and we genuinely had our dream wedding. She also helped us keep costs to a minimum when we asked.
