We are a full-service luxury event planning firm with an affinity for understated, elegant celebrations. Before starting this business, I was in retail marketing for the world’s leading sports brand executing campaigns on a national scale. The skills I acquired from that experience have become the backbone of Blue Lavender Events. With every event I’ve been so blessed to be a part of, a passion for design coupled with logistical expertise has ensured that every wedding is not only seamlessly executed, but a reflection of my couples from beginning to end. To this day, my passion for planning and meeting new couples has been my greatest joy. Being a planner by nature and a romantic at heart, I love nothing more than helping to create the perfect day for my couples and their families. We’ve been so fortunate to have been named a top wedding planner by VOGUE and BlogTO and to have our work featured in Hello! Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, Weddingbells, Wedluxe magazine, and more. While these accolades are so incredibly special, the biggest blessing has been all the people I’ve met along the way. My couples are the reason I continue to relentlessly pursue what I love to do. Plus - wow, did she bring the most incredible team with her on the day of! Her assistants added so much value to the day, and helped me in anything I needed without me even asking for it. I was so shocked at how on deck they were, and ready by my side, so proactive with anything I needed. Everyone said how Iris and her team felt like they were our friends on the day, and they made it so fun and easy.
Our wedding was more beautiful than I ever imagined, and I had way more fun than I thought I would on my own wedding day. A BIG thank you to Iris for making this happen and bringing us an unforgettable day we can't stop thinking about! We only wish we could get married twice and get to and work with you again!!

Iris and her team went well beyond making sure the rooms were beautifully set up and the day followed smoothly – from helping steam the veil to carrying around Caitlin’s lip gloss and helping clean her dress after a muddy photoshoot they had every single detail handled. Thanks to Iris, Jenn, Diana, and Sian we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding.
