17 years For the last almost two decades, I have had the honour of photographing weddings across the United States and Canada. I love to travel and it’s actually how I got started. I spent months exploring Southeast Asia, which led me to attend one of the top art schools and gave me the opportunity to study under some of North America’s best still-life and fashion photographers and art directors. I took that commercial training and the editorial eye I developed, and segued into documenting weddings because I find it to be far more fulfilling and meaningful. My wife Emily and I have two children: Paige and Wyatt. My world became brighter when they entered it. I began to see how miraculous and precious life truly was. I found myself longing to live in the present more than ever before, yet realizing how difficult it was. Every moment felt like it came and went without fully taking it all in. I desperately wanted to remember how each moment felt, and I knew my own memory would fail me.
