Danaea and Silas are super talented and were so much fun to work with! You can tell that they really love the work they do, and were very professional throughout. They beautifully captured our wedding day and have given us so many wonderful memories to look back on for the rest of our lives. We also did an Engagement Session with them which was a great experience for us, and we'll be reconnecting with them when it's time for family photos! We highly recommend The Godard's Photography!

Danaea & Silas are a power team. They have such an eye for the details and angles that few people can manage to capture at just the right time. Our wedding day called for a downpour, but even depsite the bad weather, our wedding photos turned out AMAZING! Every photo is a work of art, I couldn't decide which ones to put on the wall. I had everyone asking us who our photographer was. 10/10 would recommend these two!

Years ago The Godards photographed a wedding we had attended as guests, and captured a candid shot of us that blew us both away when we saw it. So when it came time for us to choose our own wedding photographer, the decision was easy. Their portfolio of work speaks for itself—these two are experts at capturing moments, expression, tenderness and love.

From our first virtual meeting, to our engagement session, through to our wedding day, Danaea and Silas’ professionalism, kindness and ease shined through our every interaction. In correspondence they are timely, well-organized, detailed and thorough. In person they are warm, funny, thoughtful and present. We enjoyed getting to know them immensely and are so grateful to them and their talents for capturing this time in our lives.

We would highly recommend them, and cannot wait to work with them again in the future.

Where do I even begin!! The Godards were recommended to us by a friend, and we will forever be grateful for that... We did a lot of research and meetings before choosing a photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot. Within minutes of meeting The Godards we knew they were the ones! They immediately put us at ease...
We were nervous for our first engagement shoot, but we almost forgot we were even being photographed because hanging out with them is just so much fun!
I hardly need to comment on their incredible talent as photographers, because their photos do that for them... They captured our love, personalities, and sense of fun perfectly.We still cry looking at our photos.
On our wedding day, we felt like we were hanging out with friends, and that shows in our photos. They also captured our loved ones as we see them through our eyes.. So many of our guests have said 'this is my favorite picture of myself!!'.
I could go on and on... We will forever be grateful for the gift that the Godards have given us - and we can't wait for our next photoshoot!! <3

Wow, where to start with The Godards?! I researched photographers for MONTHS before booking, as photographers are the most important vendor. The Godards stuck out to me and we really enjoyed their energy when we met them (we also loved the fact that the were a married couple). They were professional, quick to reply, and easy to work with. We had no idea where to go for our engagement shoot and they gave us a great location and it was STUNNING. We had a great time with them during the engagement shoot and I absolutely fell in love with the photos. I think the best word to describe them is CALM. They were such a lovely presence at the wedding. They were a perfect mix of telling us exactly what to do, as well as being a fly on the wall and letting us enjoy every moment. I have had my photos for weeks and still look through them almost every day. They are perfect in every way.

Honestly, what is there to even say? I'd be lying if I said I didn't stay awake until 2:45am on a "school night" going through our wedding photos, and opening them every chance I've gotten since.

We seriously cannot thank the Godards enough for capturing our special day - and engagement - so beautifully. Their work speaks for itself, just one look through their galleries and you'll be laughing, crying, and deeply feeling every emotion of each person there, in every photo they take.

But, what is perhaps even more magical, is how they make everyone in their presence feel. Silas and Danaea are kind, gentle souls who exude warmth and keep you laughing the whole way through. By some miracle (their exceptional talent), they can make people who usually squirm at the thought of a camera feel relaxed, comfortable, and most importantly, like themselves. They quickly became part of the wedding party, friendship circle, and family, and we are equally thrilled to have been able to spend our big day alongside them as we are to have a lifetime to look back on their incredible work.

In my husband's more succinct review: "would get married again just to have them take the photos."

Working with Danaea and Silas was a great experience. We spent a lot of time researching photographers for our wedding but what stood out about them was their ability to capture the emotions of the day in a beautiful, authentic, and artistic manner – and that's exactly what they did.

They are an amazing, calm presence to have on your wedding day and heck, if it starts pouring rain in the middle of your ceremony, they'll even be the first ones to get you an umbrella!

They are a fantastic team and we couldn't be happier with our decision to have them capture our special day.
